Maintenance & Care

Ceramic Blade Care

After each repair, once cooled, wipe/clean the ceramic blade with a dry cloth to remove any debris/residue. This prevents micro-fractures and maintains the precision of heated tip.

Magnetic Cap USAGE

Always store the Bait Medic with its magnetic cap covering the tip. This protects the precision repair tip from accidental damage, ensuring it is ready for your next repair.

Rechargeable Battery

Always charge the tool when the battery is low. Avoid leaving it in extreme temperatures. A full charge ensures consistent performance during long fishing trips.

Storage

Store the Bait Medic in a dry place away from extreme temperatures of open flames.  Ensure that the storage area is clean and will ensure that debris does not enter the charging port.
